- Thanks for the respond. In the quest for ultimate deathmatch speed, I
- have one more question about latency. In term of latency, how does the
- normal mode (also known as speed buffering, whatever it means) with EC
- and DC disabled compare to the direct mode that some modems offer? Is
- the direct mode faster in a sense? does direct modem support hardware
- flow control?
